A big birthday party for a little girl




Sunday was busy to say the least. 10.30am the first guests arrived, 12 hours later the last guests departed. Phew.

Here's one from our (now) completely underpixelated camera of us stuffing our faces with a BBQ dinner and another of Emily looking just a wee bit cute having lunch today after a morning of rushing around with dad.

the kid rides again

With the rain pitter pattering on the deck, Emily was most disappointed we couldn't go out and play regular dad/daughter games like kick the ball, throw the ball etc. So we went for a quick spin on her new trike instead. Much more sensible.

swim time today at the manor





Damn hot today -global warming, melting icebergs and all that.


Madam said lets take a splash after lunch.


The rain water from the last few days had heated up in the morning and was toasty pie.


Later in the day dad was still charging ahead with the camera-so we offer the following:


Play time in the lounge spreading the nicely tidied up toys from here to there......

new stuff for 2007




Ok, that looks a little better - old paint on the right and new on the left.....
Phew, what a performance that was. "yeah mate, we'll have it done while you're away-no worries. You'll hardly know we've been." Sounds like a Tui's to me !
Now we get round to the fun part, with one payment to go and the list of jobs to be completed to work through.
Keighley is back at work full time, so Emily and Dad are doing their best to fill in the days as best they can.
