Life with the Redwoods

N-Duro Round 1.

Here we are just prior to the start of the 30km mtb race of the N-Duro series on 11 June 2006. Putting the arse back into race, having a Coopers extra stout, riding the single speeds and getting our money's worth by walking up the steep hills - having a chat, making friends and not doing too badly for a bunch of sifters. We all own super duper dual suspension bikes with all the fruit, but decided the one gear wonders would be good entertainment on the day.

The 50km race coming up on 23 July might be another story though......James has got his VP3 Santa Cruz rolling ; as pictured below, Rick will hopefully have those new 2007 Fox forks by then and Tom - well Tom has an upgraded preferential supplier/regular service contract with Angela-his new bit of floss - he is just fizzing at the bung to say the least.
